Admission Arrangements

The Local Authority (Worcestershire) is responsible for admissions to all community and Voluntary Controlled schools and we adopt their admissions policy (please see links below). All applications for a September reception intake must be submitted by the previous January and the Local Authority will inform parents as to whether their child has secured a place at St Anne’s. A copy of the admissions policy and criteria for selection is available on request.

Please note that the Local Authority Admissions department now manages all schools’ waiting lists although you are welcome to register your interest in the school at the school office.

We have a comprehensive induction program which we believe supports the children’s and families’ confident transition from pre-school setting into our Reception classes. This includes parents and carers’ meetings, open days, visits by our staff to all pre-school settings, home visits and a series of ‘warm up’ mornings where all children are invited to taste life in their new class.

We encourage all parents to arrange a personal visit to find out a little more about St Anne’s – please contact the office to arrange a mutually convenient time. For more details, please contact the School Admissions Team on telephone: 01905 822700 or click on the following links.www.worcestershire.gov.uk – school admissions

Nursery Admissions

Admission to the School Nursery does not guarantee admission to the main school in Reception class. A new application for Reception needs to be made via the Worcester County Council School Admissions Team on telephone: 01905 822700 or click on the following links.
